That Nail Girl started as a mission to provided high quality nail care to everyone! I started this nail business as a solo nail tech with one dream and that was to be my own boss and create a nail space that's not just beneficial to the client but to its fellow nail techs. I wanted to clients to reach their nail goals without pressure, but with knowledge of what is being serviced to them. I wanted my nail techs to transform into Nail Artists and learn that they are worth the price and their time is worthy.

Each service is carefully consulted and curated to each client. After years of being in this industry, not all nails are the same and not all clients are the same. Each nail plate has a different chemistry and each client lives a different lifestyle, each perimeter plays a role on the longevity of a manicure.
Lisa Selenschek
Lisa Selenschek is That Nail Girl and owner of CÜR NAILS in Downtown Grayslake. She has been a licensed nail technician since 2010 and is currently licensed in 3 states. She received her nail technician license in Florida 2010, in 2014 she moved to California and endorsed her licensed over and started her solo nail technician and received training in dry manicure, gel overlay, and gel-x certifications. In 2020, after moving to Illinois, she transitioned her business and license over, began booth renting in a local hair salon, after 8 months of dedication, she create full client book that gave her the courage to open her first nail salon, CÜR NAILS.

Her passion for the nail industry is put towards growing nail technicians and spread knowledge to nail clients. She is dedicated to her CÜR team and the nail community in the Midwest area.
